The coalition led in 157 constituencies and had gained three seats as of the time this report was written. It was projected that the ruling YSRCP will win between 55 and 77 seats. The Election Commission released data showing that Jagan Mohan Reddy’s party is ahead in just 15 seats and has not yet won any.

The TDP ran candidates in 144 Assembly and 17 Lok Sabha seats as part of the seat-sharing agreement, while the BJP entered candidates in six Lok Sabha and ten Assembly seats. The Jana Sena Party ran candidates for 21 Assembly seats and two Lok Sabha seats.

The TDP, which had been dealt a crippling blow by a much younger Jagan Reddy in the last elections, made a tremendous recovery according to the polls.
