His father has declared that he will host a straightforward show today, May 29. The friends, family, and fans of well-known Punjabi musician Sidhu Moosewala are still battling for justice two years after his death.
Today, May 29, Sidhu Moosewala’s father, Balkaur Singh, said that a straightforward event will be organized to commemorate the second anniversary of his death. Moosewala’s native town honored the cherished artist with sculptures, busts, and photos on the eve of the anniversary of his death. Moosewala’s photos were also featured on printed t-shirts and coffee mugs sold by a few local retailers. Born on June 11, 1993, Sidhu Mooswala was first identified as Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu.

Balkaur Singh declared a modest program to mark his older son’s death anniversary. The event is only open to close friends and family due to the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2024 and the high temperatures, as reported by ANI. Only locals and family members were allowed to attend, per his request.
“Tomorrow’s schedule will be very straightforward due to the elections and the high heat. Only the villagers and their families are allowed to enter; everyone else has been warned to stay away. The public is instructed not to attend.Balkaur Singh, the father of Sidhu Moosewala, informed ANI that only religious rites will be carried out.
Sidhu Moosewala’s mother posted a heartfelt remembrance of his beloved son, who was murdered dead by criminals on May 29, on Instagram in Punjabi.
I love you, Sidhu, my kid. You are the kind of son we will always remember. Son, our hearts will always hold a place for you. It won’t ever fade from your memories. In history, this day is recorded in boldface. An Instagram post in Punjabi said, “Sidhu Moose Vaal son.”
Balkaur and Charan Kaur, the parents of Sidhu Moosewala, welcomed a newborn son into their household earlier this year. On May 29, 2022, Moosewala was shot and killed in Mansa.
The Punjabi singer was shot around 30 times by the attackers, and villagers discovered her dead in the driver’s seat. Moosewala was also involved in politics; as a candidate for Congress in the most recent Assembly election, he ran from Mansa.
